The purpose of this presentation is to provide an overview of the key concerns associated with improper sleep habits and how best to incorporate a sleep health component into your clinical practice. It will discuss sleep physiology, the physical and behavioral conditions that are impacted by sleep patterns, and how changes in lifestyle related to sleep can have a profound impact on your patients. This activity will help increase your knowledge regarding sleep health and provide a basis for providing this important component of Lifestyle Medicine to your patients.
The Lifestyle Medicine Core Competencies education activity is composed of a series of eCourses viewed in a digital format.
Users are able to move through the eCourse at their own pace. It begins and ends with an assessment of the learner's comprehension of the subject matter. Interactive scenarios, images, audio, and video may have been added to enhance the experience.
