My account is locked, what now?

Please reach out to the Education Team at [email protected], they will be able to support you with resetting your password.

Where can I find my username?

Your username is your email address used for your ACLM account. For Lifestyle Medicine Residency Curriculum (LMRC) users, your username is your institution's email address.

How can I update my time zone?

When logged in, click on your name in the upper right-hand side of site. Select Account Setting. Scroll down to Locale & Language to select your preferred time zone.

Are courses at your own pace?

Yes, all ACLM courses are at your own pace, however, each course has a specific valid period. You will only have access to a specific edition of a course during the course’s valid period and will not be able to view the content after the course’s expiry date. The valid period for each course is listed under ‘Term of Approval’ on the information page of each course, please keep these dates in mind when purchasing courses.

How do I access my course?

Make sure you are logged in at www.lifestylemedicine.org. Once you are signed in, hover over the ‘Education’ tab, and click ‘My Learning Center’. Then, follow one of the next two steps:

1. On the main course page, you should see your course(s) under the ‘My Courses’ section. Here, any current courses will appear. Click on a course to access the content. OR
2. In the top right, click theicon. In the search bar, search for the name of the course you are trying to access.

Note: You must be enrolled in the course, the overall course edition must not be expired, and you must still be within the course’s valid period (depending on the course, this can be anywhere from 1-3 years) in order to access the course.

How do I pin a course?

1. On the main course page, hover over the course you want to pin. Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the course and click ‘Pin’. The course will now be available in the ‘Pinned’ tab.
2. In the top right, click theicon. In the search bar, search for the name of the course you would like to pin. Click the ’Pin’ icon to the right of the course name. The course will now be available in the ’Pinned’ tab.

How do I drop/unenroll from a course?

Please be aware of our current Education Policy:

• Courses are purchased on an individual basis and are non-transferable.
• Courses cannot be returned if they have been opened and accessed.
• For the Lifestyle Medicine Board Review Course, this course cannot be returned if the printed manual has already been shipped.
• Courses purchased beyond 60 days are nonrefundable, even if the course has not been opened.

I purchased a course but do not see it in my Learning Center.

Please note that it may take up to 24-48 hours for the courses to appear in the Learning Center after purchase. If you do not see your course appear after 48 hours, please contact our Education Support Team at [email protected]

Can I access the courses on a phone/tablet?

Yes, however, optimal performance is achieved when using a laptop/desktop. ACLM’s Learning Management System (Brightspace) supports the desktop versions of Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Firefox. Brightspace does not support the mobile versions of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Firefox.

How do I start a quiz?

Navigate to the quiz you would like to take, Then, click ‘Go to Quiz’. You will then click the blue ‘Start Quiz!’ button at the bottom.

Why can't I access a quiz?

A previous quiz may not have been completed, the quiz may not be currently available, the valid period for the quiz may have ended, or the max number of attempts have been reached. Please contact our Education Support Team at [email protected] if you need assistance.

How many quiz attempts will I have?

You will have unlimited attempts at all ACLM course quizzes.

How do I access, download, and print my certificate?

To view your certificate, select ‘Awards’ from the course navbar on the course homepage. You will then be able to print/download your certificate. It may take a while for your certificate to download, so please keep this in mind.

How do I access my certificate from a course I previously completed on the former learning management system?

Please email [email protected] and we will help you with your request.

Why is the Audio/Video not playing?

Please try clearing your cache, cookies, and browser history. Then, you can try to access the Learning Center through a different browser, or through an incognito window. Please contact our Education Support Team at [email protected] if you are still having trouble.

How do I download/print the content?

To protect the integrity of our courses, the content is not available for print/download.

How do I make the font bigger/smaller?

You can adjust the font size in your browser by holding ‘Ctrl’ and pressing ‘+’ or ‘-’.

How will I know my current progress?

To view your class progress, select ‘Class Progress’ from the course navbar on the course homepage. The course progress tool will give you the most robust overview of all of your activity within the course.

Will I have access to the content after I complete the course?

Yes, you will have access to the content through the end of the valid period of the course.

What do I do if my course will not progress forward?

Will I still have access to the courses I purchased?

Your course enrollments will transfer; however, partial course completion will NOT transfer to the new learning management system. If a course is not complete in the current learning management system (Topclass) by May 31st, 2022, you will be enrolled in the same course with a fresh start on the new platform (D2L).

How are the practicum requirements including patient encounters, ITLC hours, and group program hours tracked?

For sites implementing the LMRC starting in 2022, an LMRC Tracker to track the practicum components including patient encounters, ITLC hours and group hours is available through the LMS. Sites that implemented the LMRC prior to 2022 can use their existing process for tracking application activities or use the LMRC Tracker.

How do I access the pre-curriculum survey and is it required?

The pre-curriculum survey is the first item in the LMRC and is required prior to accessing the curriculum. Once the survey has been submitted, the learner can advance to the first module.

How do I access the post-curriculum survey and is it required?

The post-curriculum survey is required and is accessible once all curriculum requirements have been fulfilled.

How do I access the unit pre-quizzes and are they required?

Unit pre-quizzes are required and are automatically populated prior to accessing the unit content. Once the unit pre-quiz has been submitted, the learner can advance to the unit content.

How do I access the unit post-quizzes and are they required?

Unit post-quizzes are required and are automatically populated after completing the unit content.

How do I access the application activities for each module and are they required?

Sixty (60) hours of application activities are required throughout the entire curriculum and can be found in the Module Guides in the ‘Getting Started’ section of each unit landing page.
